WHAT: Join us for a day of celebration and culinary delight as we kick off the Playoffs for the Collard Green Cook-Off 2024. Bring your family and friends for a day filled with food, fun, and community spirit. Witness Detroit's finest chefs go head-to-head in a battle of flavor. Indulge in delectable vegan collard green dishes crafted by master chefs. Groove to the soulful tunes of Detroit's Own Gospel Superstar, Darius Twyman, live in concert.

Special note: ALL of the collard greens at the Collard Green Cookoff were grown at DBFLF Farms!!!! Both Co-Founding farms (DTown and OAUF) and awardee farms (Urban Youth Agriculture and Liberated Farms). ALSO, the only DBFLF Chef to enter, Chef Bee, made it to the championship round!!!
